Update as of June 11, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. CST

We want to provide an update on COVID-19 and its impact within our Harbour’s Edge community. We learned on Wednesday, June 10, that one of our team members tested positive for the virus. By way of recap, we have two team members who tested positive for the virus and are self-isolating at home. At this time, there are no resident cases of COVID-19 in our community.

In partnership with the Florida Department of Health, all Health Center residents and team members were tested for COVID-19 last week. The majority of those tests were negative. Test results will be shared privately with each individual tested. While we will not share private health information broadly, we will continue to provide updates to you regarding COVID-19 in our community as available and appropriate.

As a reminder, Lifespace and Harbour’s Edge are continuing to follow heightened infection control guidelines. We encourage everyone to only leave the community for essential needs like groceries or critical medical appointments, practice social distancing, wear facemasks, and exercise proper hand hygiene. We appreciate your support and continued adherence to the protocols we have implemented to protect our residents and team members.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Harbour’s Edge management team. Thank you for your continued understanding, support, and adherence to our safety protocols.
